Describe Yourself:
Weekends exploring The Great Smoky Mountains in East TN, gave me an adventurous spirit. My father, brother, and I spent many days searching for arrowheads in dry lake beds or climbing into caves. As an adult, I lived 5 years in Rabat, Morocco; after returning home, office life was stifling, so I took a job in route sales. My book, "A Life in the Day of a Lady Salesman" chronicles the difficulties and also fun as one of the first saleswomen in southern Appalachia.
Chapters in my book include, “I Know Every Restroom in Every Town," and "Over the Mountains and Lost in the Woods with Candy, Tobacco, and Restaurant Goods."
